The College has an RCC Hostel for girls far-off places. The two storied hostel has a capacity for 100 boarders. Hostel accommodation with all the required amenities such as running water, uninterrupted power supply, sanitation, etc. is provided at a very nominal fee.
Amguri College Library is fully computerised and is enriched with more than 20000 text books. Besides the Libraryhas subscribed a number of periodicals including magazines, journals and newspapers of regional, national and international repute. The library is equipped with well furnished reading rooms for students and teachers along with other facilities such as reprography, book bank, information circulation board etc. The library has an integrated digital-cum-online interface. The students can borrow books from the library for stipulated period of time. For the purpose, they are issued with College Library Cards.Moreover, Book Bank facility is available for poor and meritorious students.
Digital Classrooms with modern technology and smart education are available for the students where they can gather maximum knowledge within very short span of time. The digital classrooms make the entire education environment more interactive, interesting and beneficial.
Language Laboratory equipped with modern technology and teaching aids is opened up in the college with an endeavour to facilitate the srudents to learn English in a perfect way through proper pronounciation and spelling.
Special attention is given to the sports environment of the college. The college has a number of sports infrastructure including Basketball Court, Outoor Stadium, Multi-Gymnasium Hall, Indoor Stadium. College weeks are organised annually in the college premises. Amguri College encourage students to participate in sports activities across the state.
The College envisages the empowerment of the students to establish themselves in an ambience of cutthroat competition, besides playing a key role in overall social upliftment. The faculty members have endeavoured their level best to impart quality teaching to the students to transform them into quality human resources of tomorrow. With that very noble objective in mind emphasis has been laid on not only providing course-based education but also enriching the students through their access to life centred activities thereby enhancing their prospect of employability. All out efforts have been made to sculpt the ethical and moral architecture of students in the soundest manner.

Amguri college performed various extension activities as a part of activities of NSS, NCC, Women Study Centre, Eco Club and Women Cell. The Women Cell, Amguri College has adopted a Missing Village and do various activities for socio-economic development of the said village.
The Pilot Project "Maitri, Ek Gyan Yatra" under the aegis of the honourable Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar District was flagged off on the 10th of March 2016. The project was envisaged to incorporate all academic institutions under one portal wherein the faculties of institutions of higher learning imparted classes to institutions of lower learning. Faculties from Amguri College from almost all the departments conducted academic exercises in the feeder schools located in the periphery of the college. The mission was adjudged as a grand success.
