Biography

Niharika Duarah joined  Amguri College on 26th september,1997. She passed BA examination from SMD college, charing in the year 1993 securing 1st class 1st position from Dibrugarh University. Again she secured 1st class 1st position in MA from the Department of Education of Dubrugarh university. After that she joined in the Amguri college in the department of education. Since her joining, she is extending her service in numerious ways for the betterment of the student community and for the college. Her fields of interest are philosophy, psychology and applied psychology. Mrs. Duarah has completed a MRP funded by UGC and thesis is about to submit. Till now she has organised two national level seminar and a national webinar as a coordinator. She was acting as president of women cell of Amguri College from 2016 to 2020. During this period she organised many lecture programmes on different issues inviting different resource persons. She organised two days yoga workshop inviting members of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishariya Bishabidyalaya and adopted a missing Gaon near Amguri for their development by organishing different programmes.

Till now she has presented 13 research papers in different national level and international seminars and published paper too. Recently she has published a paper in a UGC care listed international journal. She was associated with more than two international organisations and life member of other agencies also. Till now she has published 9 no of text books for degree students and also write self learning material of distant learner of Dibrugarh University. She has the experience of resource person n of college and engaged in different kinds of confidential work of degree and board examinations.
